Hybrid Print & Fashion Designer (Men's Apparel)

We are seeking a versatile and talented

Print and Fashion Designer

to join our team, focusing on our contemporary men's apparel line. This is a

relaxed and chill position

that values creativity, work-life balance, and autonomy. While you'll have the freedom to manage your work remotely most of the time, the weekly in-office day is crucial for focused collaboration, material review, and team connection.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Print & Textile Design:

Create original, trend-forward textile print designs

(e.g., repeating patterns, graphic placements, engineered prints) suitable for men's shirting, t-shirts, jackets, and accessories.

Develop color palettes

and manage the artwork creation process, ensuring files are technically correct for various printing techniques (screen print, digital, sublimation, etc.). Maintain an organized digital library of all print assets and color standards.

2. Fashion Design & Development (Menswear):

Research and analyze current and future

men's fashion trends

, fabric innovations, and market demand. Design and develop new apparel styles from initial sketch (hand or digital) through to tech packs, including

flat sketches, detailed construction notes, and material specifications

. Collaborate with the pattern-making and production teams to ensure design intent is maintained during sampling and production. Lead fittings and provide clear, precise comments on prototypes and samples.

3. Collaboration & Communication (The Weekly In-Office Day):

Use the weekly in-office day for

critical tasks

like reviewing physical samples, fabrics, and strike-offs, concept brainstorming sessions, and team meetings. Present seasonal concepts, designs, and prints to the leadership team. Maintain a positive, collaborative relationship with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Merchandising).

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field.

Expert proficiency

in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop are non-negotiable). Strong technical knowledge of garment construction, pattern development, and fabric properties. A portfolio that clearly demonstrates strong aesthetic judgment and technical print development skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills, crucial for managing a hybrid work schedule.
