We are seeking a Principal Public Health & Fire Protection Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this senior-level position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of communities through innovative engineering solutions that address both public health concerns and fire protection challenges.

Lead and oversee complex public health and fire protection engineering projects from conception to completion Develop and implement comprehensive risk assessment and mitigation strategies for various facilities and infrastructure Design and evaluate fire protection systems and public health measures for new and existing buildings Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local, national, and international building codes and regulations Provide expert consultation on emergency response planning and disaster preparedness Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in public health and fire protection engineering Represent the organization in industry forums and professional associations Contribute to the development of company policies and best practices in public health and fire safety

Qualifications

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Public Health, Fire Protection Engineering, or a closely related field Professional Engineering (PE) license Minimum of 10 years of experience in public health and fire protection engineering, with a proven track record of successful project completion Advanced knowledge of public health principles and fire protection engineering practices Expertise in building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to public health and fire safety Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools for design, modeling, and analysis Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to mentor junior engineers Relevant certifications in fire safety and public health (e.g., Certified Fire Protection Specialist, Certified in Public Health) Experience with risk assessment methodologies and emergency response planning Willingness to travel as required for project sites and professional development * Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
