As a Principle Technical Specialist at Nokia's Network Service Platform (NSP) team you would be responsible for automating and streamlining the software development and deployment lifecycle, ensuring reliable and efficient software releases. This involves managing infrastructure as code, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and optimizing DevOps tools and processes, while collaborating with development and operations teams.
Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery, enabling efficient and reliable software releases.
• Deploy, maintain, and optimize DevOps tools and infrastructure, including tools for build, release, and lab operations.
• Develop and automate tasks, such as deployments, configuration management, and testing, to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Contribute to the development and execution of test plans and troubleshooting tools to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to define requirements, resolve issues, and improve processes.
• Diagnose and resolve complex problems related to software deployment and infrastructure.
• Participate in process and tool evolution, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to continuous efficiency gains.

Qualifications:
You Have:

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with 10-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in software development or testing within DevOps (CI/CD/SCM) environments.
• Strong experience with programming languages such as Java, Go, Python for development and testing.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, including Git/Gerrit, Jenkins, Absolute, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitOps.
• Understanding of cloud runtime environments and their integration within DevOps processes.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Openstack, Openshift experience is good to have
• Certified Openstack Administrator, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Cloud Infrastructure (Good to have)

It would be nice if you also had:

• Understanding of telecommunication architecture and its requirements.
• Experience with scripting/coding in one or more languages, such as Python, JavaScript, Bash.
