This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Principal Software Engineer in India.
This role offers the opportunity to lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions across the full technology stack. You will work closely with product management, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, robust, and innovative applications. The position requires hands-on expertise in modern web technologies, cloud services, and microservices architectures. You will be instrumental in implementing best practices for development, testing, and deployment while mentoring team members and influencing technical direction. This is a remote role with initial on-site onboarding, offering the chance to contribute to impactful projects and shape the software engineering culture within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Accountabilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of software solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
• Design, implement, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core 8+, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
• Develop and integrate microservices, REST APIs, and event-driven systems using Azure Services, Azure Service Bus, and Hangfire.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and DevOps, to ensure robust development and delivery processes.
• Apply best practices in software design patterns, CI/CD, version control (GIT), and code quality standards.
• Implement and maintain SQL Server databases, Elastic Search, and CDC mechanisms.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to foster technical growth and promote a culture of excellence.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in software engineering with strong full-stack development expertise.
• Proven hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core 8+, Angular (latest versions), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and NgRx.
• Experience with microservices architecture, Web APIs, SQL Server, Elastic Search, and Azure cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, design patterns, and version control (GIT).
• Experience with Azure Service Bus, Hangfire, and event-driven systems.
• Proficient in debugging complex distributed systems and implementing high-quality solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership while mentoring team members.
• Immediate availability or notice period of 0-15 days.
