Inviting applications for the role of Principle Consultant - Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer
The Senior IAM Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-wide identity and access management solutions. With experience, this role requires deep expertise in authentication protocols, IAM platforms, and security frameworks. The engineer will ensure secure, scalable, and compliant access to systems and data across the organization, while mentoring junior staff and driving IAM strategy.
Responsibilities

• IAM Architecture & Design:

o Develop and maintain IAM solutions aligned with enterprise security strategy.
o Design workflows for user provisioning, de-provisioning, and role-based access control (RBAC).

• Implementation & Integration:

o Integrate IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, Auth0, ForgeRock, Ping Identity, Azure AD/Entra ID) with enterprise applications.
o Implement authentication protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, Kerberos, LDAP).
o Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

• Security & Compliance:

o Ensure IAM systems comply with regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, SOX, ISO 27001).
o Conduct audits, access reviews, and enforce least privilege principles.
o Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to implement Zero Trust models.

• Automation & Operations:

o Automate IAM processes using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
o Manage IAM infrastructure with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
o Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize IAM services for high availability.

• Leadership & Mentorship:

o Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
o Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for IAM across the organization.
Partner with business stakeholders to align IAM solutions with organizational needs
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills

• IAM engineering, with proven expertise in enterprise-scale implementations.
• Hands-on experience with leading IAM platforms (Okta, Auth0, Azure AD/Entra ID, Ping Identity, ForgeRock).
• Strong knowledge of authentication standards (OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, Kerberos, LDAP).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid IAM deployments.
• Experience with API security, cryptography, and PKI

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Experience implementing Zero Trust security frameworks.
• Background in DevSecOps and CI/CD pipeline integration with IAM.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator.
