Inviting applications for the role of

Principal Consultant, Mobile Automation

Testing !

In this role, you will be playing a vital role in the quality of our innovative Software as a Medical Device (

SaMD

) application. You'll design, run, and report on automated tests, collaborating across Quality Management, Technology Development, Business Operations, and with external development teams to guarantee our applications provide

Responsibilities

Conduct manual testing, including functional regression, smoke, exploratory and negative testing, across various mobile devices in a dynamic environment.

Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks and scripts.

Design and execute automated tests for both Android and iOS applications.

Lead projects by independently troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving complex technical issues within the testing pipeline.

Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and provide prompt feedback to the development team.

Collaborate with the team to identify testing requirements and improve overall application quality.

Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve testing efficiency, team productivity, and overall product quality

Support the implementation of Quality Management System processes throughout the organization.

Partner with the Quality Management Team to oversee the software release process and prepare Design History File (DHF) documentation

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related STEM field.

Hands on experience in software testing, demonstrating proficiency in both manual and automation techniques, particularly within iOS and Android mobile environments.

Proven experience with manual testing methodologies, including test plan creation, test case writing, execution, and defect tracking for mobile applications.

Strong programming skills in Node.js.

Demonstrated experience in mobile application automation for both Android and iOS, with a strong preference for Appium.

Good understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with pipeline integration.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, coupled with excellent analytical, problem-solving and debugging skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Experience working within FDA 21 CFR 820 and/or ISO 13485 medical device quality management system regulations.
