This is where you and your skills come in. We are looking for a Principal UX Designer to lead and shape video, voice, meetings, chat, and real-time collaboration experiences. This role operates at a system and platform level, owning complex, multi-participant workflows across web, desktop, and mobile.
To succeed in this role, you have a proven ability to:
Video & Collaboration UX LeadershipOwn UX for video meetings, calling, screen sharing, chat, recording, and moderation workflows. Design real-time, state-heavy experiences involving latency, failures, permissions, roles, and transitions. Drive end-to-end design from problem framing and interaction design to validation and delivery.

Systems, Strategy & InfluenceDefine scalable interaction models and UX frameworks for collaboration platforms. Partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and Data to influence platform and roadmap decisions. Represent UX in reviews with clear, user- and system-driven rationale.

Craft, Quality & MentorshipSet a high bar for interaction design, usability, accessibility, and performance-aware UX. Mentor senior and mid-level designers and lead design reviews to elevate overall quality.

Portfolio RequirementsPortfolio demonstrating strong end-to-end UX ownership across complex products or platforms. Evidence of systems thinking, interaction depth, and problem-solving ability. Clear articulation of design rationale, trade-offs, and impact.

EducationMaster's degree in Design (HCI, Interaction Design, Product Design) or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Design, Engineering, or a related field.

Required Experience15+ years in UX / Product Design with strong hands-on experience in video or collaboration platforms. Proven ownership of complex, real-time, or platform-level experiences. Ability to operate at both system and interaction detail levels.

PreferredExperience with UCaaS or enterprise collaboration platforms. * Exposure to AI-assisted experiences and cross-platform products.
