Role Overview:
As a User Experience Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating and enhancing the user experience for our Cloud Edition product. You will be responsible for designing intuitive and engaging interfaces, managing design projects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Development:Conducting user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points testing to gather insights and influence design decisions. Analyzing user data and metrics to make informed design decisions. Create and refine UI/UX designs using FIGMA and other design tools. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with business requirements and user needs. Ensure consistency and adherence to style guides and design standards across all interfaces. Contribute to Style Guide and maintain it up to date

Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and set clear delivery expectations. Communicate progress, delays, and changes proactively to stakeholders and team members. + Keep stakeholders informed about the status of design tasks and any potential impacts on timelines.
Work closely with the Director of Delivery & PO Team to plan and execute design projects.

Mentoring and Development:Provide guidance and feedback to fellow UI/UX team members. Conduct training sessions to enhance the UI capabilities of developers and ensure adherence to design standards. Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within and across UI/UX, PO and Development teams.

Quality Assurance:Perform rigorous peer reviews of design changes to maintain high-quality standards. Continuously identify and address existing UI issues and deviations from the style guide.

Skills:
Technical Skills:
Wireframing and Prototyping:Ability to create wireframes and prototypes using tools like FIGMA, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.

Responsive Design:Knowledge of designing for various screen sizes and devices to ensure a seamless user experience across platforms.

HTML/CSS:Basic understanding of HTML and CSS to collaborate effectively with developers and understand the limitations and possibilities of web design.

Interaction Design:Skills in designing interactive elements and animations that enhance user engagement.

Creative Skills:
Visual Design:Strong sense of aesthetics, including color theory, typography, and layout principles.

Branding:Ability to incorporate brand identity into the design to create a cohesive and recognizable experience.

User Interface (UI) Design:Expertise in designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that facilitate user tasks.

Analytical Skills:
User Research:Conducting user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and pain points.

Usability Testing:Performing usability tests to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Data Analysis:Analyzing user data and metrics to make informed design decisions.

Soft Skills:
Communication:Effective communication skills to articulate design ideas and collaborate with stakeholders.

Problem-Solving:Ability to identify and solve design challenges creatively and efficiently.

Empathy:Understanding and empathizing with users to create user-centered designs.

Project Management Skills:
Time Management:Managing time effectively to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work.

Collaboration:Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and marketers.

Continuous Learning:
Staying Updated:Keeping up with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.

Professional Development:Pursuing certifications and attending workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.

Other Skills:Attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work on time. Experience with Agile methodologies and Kanban board management is a plus.
