Position Overview
The Principal serves as the
academic and administrative head
of the school, ensuring excellence in teaching, learning outcomes, discipline, and overall campus management. The role demands a visionary leader who aligns with the

Key Responsibilities1. Academic Leadership
Ensure implementation of curriculum in line with
Velammal Nexus standards
and
NEP (National Education Policy)
framework.
Plan and execute annual academic and co-curricular calendars.
Monitor teaching quality, student performance, and introduce remedial strategies.
Drive measurable outcomes and uphold academic benchmarks.
2. Administrative Management
Oversee day-to-day operations, infrastructure, safety, and compliance with
CBSE/affiliation
requirements.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Admin departments to ensure operational efficiency.
Manage budgets, resource allocation, and vendor approvals.
Maintain accurate institutional records and reports.
3. Staff Supervision & Development
Lead recruitment, orientation, and performance management of teaching and non-teaching staff.
Conduct regular
training programs, workshops, and performance reviews
to enhance staff quality.
Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
4. Student Discipline & Welfare
Establish and uphold a
safe, inclusive, and disciplined
school environment.
Address academic and behavioral concerns with students and parents.
Oversee attendance, punctuality, and overall student well-being.
5. Parent & Community Engagement
Strengthen school-parent communication through PTMs, updates, and feedback sessions.
Represent the school at community, academic, and inter-school forums.
Enhance the institution's public image and stakeholder relationships.
Key Requirements
Educational Qualification:
Master's Degree (preferably in
Science, English, or Mathematics
) with
B.Ed./M.Ed.
Experience:
12-15 years in academics, including
at least 5 years
in a leadership role (Principal / Vice Principal).
Preferred Age:
40-50 years
