Essential Functions

Develop industry leading targeted attributes for EV power electronics.
Lead architecture development and key component design for power stage and control electronics.
Create and execute innovative designs and processes in all aspects of power electronics products.
Engage with industry and academic consortiums and conferences to promote Visteon's technology positions and build talent pipeline.

Preferred Competencies
Demonstrated skills and abilities as might be expected from a person with:

Experience with DCDC converters simulation, schematic capture, and layout.
Experience with PFC, LLC, and gate drive circuitry design.
Demonstrated capability in creating and executing innovative ideas in converter design and/or in relevant technologies mentioned above.
Hands-on electrical hardware testing/debugging capability.
Good communication skills; verbal and written with global cultural sensitivity
Ability to work within a constrained deadline (quotes are tightly time bound).
Self-motivated with ability to lead a global team toward a common goal.

Requirements

Power electronics background
BS in EE or related field with equivalent experience is required. Master's degree is preferred.
