Introduction:

The Ethics & Compliance Principal Specialist will join a growing team of professionals supporting the Ethics & Compliance (E&C) Office. The E&C Office is responsible for promoting employee awareness, education and training on our Code of Conduct, corporate policies and general ethical behavior, as well as overseeing and constantly improving a program to assess risks and proactively prevent and detect unlawful/unethical conduct.

We need a candidate with excellent organizational, communication and collaboration skills to partner with us to grow the team. The position is located in Bangalore, is global in nature but with a specific focus on the APAC region, and will report to the Deputy Director Ethics & Compliance.

Your Job:

Drive and promote our culture of ethics and compliance across the Company.

  • Administer the E&C Office\xe2\x80\x99s global risk assessment process, including testing of identified controls and monitoring of corrective actions.
  • Implement controls, compliance spot checks, testing and monitoring programs to prevent, identify and correct noncompliance in GF\xe2\x80\x99s people, processes and business systems.
  • Perform audits and evaluations of global project and corporate transactions and activities to determine compliance and effectiveness with established policies and procedures.
  • Support GF\xe2\x80\x99s third-party risk management program through additional due diligence research.
  • Monitor, identify, escalate and report ethics and compliance issues, irregularities, and violations.
  • Investigate concerns reported through GF\xe2\x80\x99s whistleblower hotline or otherwise brought to the attention of the E&C Office.
  • Support in the management of daily operations of the Ethics & Compliance Program including its application to employees and facilities in multiple international jurisdictions.
  • Provide reports to the Deputy Director Ethics & Compliance, General Counsel, and others regarding compliance initiatives and risks.
  • Related duties as required to support the Ethics & Compliance Office.
Other Responsibilities:
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in the field of ethics and compliance, fraud examination, internal audit, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of laws, legal codes, procedures, and other relevant authoritative guidance regarding anti-corruption efforts in the United States, the EU, and Asia.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree
  • Certification - CCEP, CCEP-I, LCEP, CIA or CFE.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data management and visualization tools.
  • Experience within the semiconductor/manufacturing industries.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Self-starter able to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working collaboratively on cross-functional and cross-divisional teams.
  • Strong personal integrity and aligned personal values.
  • Project management skills - i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning & organizational skills.
