As a Principal member of one of the most innovative and fastest growing groups at Pega, you will lead quality engineering initiatives and work closely with talented engineers, architects, and product owners across the globe to build a highly scalable Software as a Service (SaaS) offering.


The CDH team builds inbound features on the Pega Platform, delivering real-time Next-Best-Action recommendations that ensure relevant, timely, and consistent customer interactions across channels, with a strong focus on architecture and application maturity. In this role, you'll serve as a key technical leader and quality engineering architect, pioneering the use of GenAI capabilities to revolutionize testing practices while building intelligent systems that ensure the highest quality standards across our platform

In this role, you'll act as a quality engineering thought leader, shaping test architecture and automation strategies while pioneering AI-powered solutions that analyze existing code, UX specifications, and technical documentation to automatically generate integration tests that run continuously on test pipelines. What You'll Do at Pega:

Lead design of scalable test automation frameworks and strategies Build GenAI-driven systems for automated test generation and coverage Develop AI pipelines and prompt engineering for dynamic test cases Own automation architecture for cloud and distributed systems Mentor teams and set quality standards with shift-left practices Drive innovation with AI-based testing, self-healing, and synthetic data Integrate automation into CI/CD for seamless execution and feedback Define KPIs for coverage, reliability, and maintainability Lead performance and scalability testing for complex platforms Align quality strategies with business goals and Scrum processes

Who You Are:

Results-driven quality engineering leader with deep technical expertise and an innovation mindset. Skilled in designing scalable quality architectures, building GenAI-powered testing systems, and guiding teams to excellence. Known for sound decision-making, mentoring, and setting high standards for technical quality.

7-10 years in quality engineering with expertise in test automation, frameworks, and leadership Proficient in Selenium, Playwright, Cypress; skilled in enterprise-scale automation architecture Strong experience in API testing (Karate, REST Assured) and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, DevOps) Hands-on with GenAI and LLMs for AI-driven test generation and maintenance Deep understanding of workflows, system architecture, and distributed/cloud systems Skilled in designing end-to-end test strategies, automation best practices, and quality standards Strong programming foundation (Java, Python) and data handling (XML/JSON) Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and team mentorship skills

Proven leader in designing enterprise-scale automated test frameworks and driving quality transformation Skilled in aligning quality strategies with business goals through collaboration with engineering and product leadership Experience mentoring teams and building high-performing quality engineering organizations Familiarity with Customer Decision Hub (CDH) or similar real-time decisioning platforms is a plus

Additional Skills for Principal-Level Excellence:

Develop long-term quality strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives Expertise in load testing and scalability using JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and secure coding practices Familiar with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and cloud-native testing approaches Define and track KPIs, defect trends, and automation ROI for data-driven decisions
