We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Hands-On

Principal Software Engineer

with a minimum of 15 years of software development expertise. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of cloud systems and demonstrate proficiency in leveraging cloud technologies to architect scalable and efficient software solutions. Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and GenAI is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

1. Architectural Design:Lead the architectural design and implementation of software solutions, ensuring they align with business goals and scalability requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust and scalable architectural designs.

2. Hands-On Development:Actively participate in hands-on development, providing technical guidance and mentorship to the development team. Write code and contribute to the development of critical components of the software architecture.

3. Cloud Systems Expertise:Leverage extensive knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) to design and implement cloud-native solutions. Optimize existing systems and applications for cloud deployment, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

4. Innovation and Emerging Technologies:Stay abreast of industry trends, especially in the fields of Large Language Models (LLMs) and GenAI. Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance the software architecture and keep the organization at the forefront of innovation.

5. Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data scientists, to ensure a cohesive and effective development process. Communicate architectural decisions, technical concepts, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience.
Minimum of 6 years of hands-on software development experience. Proven experience as a Software Architect, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software solutions. Solid proficiency in cloud technologies and architecture, with practical experience in deploying and managing applications on major cloud platforms. Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and GenAI is a strong plus. Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks. Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Solid leadership and mentorship capabilities.
