Qualifications

Qualifications Required

-Bachelor's/Master's/PHD in Computer Science or related field. Previous experience with web services, storage, cloud computing, and planet-scale systems is a big plus. 10+ years of experience with designing, implementing, debugging and launching commercial software products or web services, through multiple release cycles. 5+ years of experience leading an engineering team of ICs, setting clear expectations/KRs, keeping team members energized, and delivering great results. Experience with Microsoft Azure or familiarity with data engineering concepts a big plus.

Other Requirements

-Excellent design, coding, debugging, teamwork, and communication skills. A Customer focused innovation mindset. Passionate about Craftmanship in engineering. Experience with cross group design and coordination is an advantage.

Influence and align the product vision by collaborating with customers, partners, product management and engineering teams. Drive a diverse team of engineers to deliver exceptional end-user experiences and robust cloud services. Ensure service durability across releases while optimizing performance, scalability, availability, and reliability. Provide leadership, make technical contributions, and drive data-driven decision-making. Foster collaboration and trust within the team. Advocate for Microsoft 365 Security products, enabling users to access and control information across web, desktop, and mobile applications. Work closely with program managers and security engineering teams to develop core features for the Microsoft security portal and supporting back-end functionality. Play a vital role in combating malware and protecting millions of customers. Hire and develop the best.
