Principal Software Engineer

Node.js and React

Responsibilities

Lead technical architecture, system design, and product development efforts Mentor and guide engineers through best practices, code reviews, and pair programming Oversee complex backend and frontend development in

Node.js and React

Set coding standards and enforce software quality metrics Act as the main technical liaison for Irish clients Collaborate with DevOps, product, and design teams to ship reliable, scalable features

Requirements

10+ years of experience in full-stack development Expert-level knowledge in

Node.js

and

React

Experience in designing large-scale applications and leading engineering teams Excellent communication skills in

English

(spoken and written) Experience with microservices, API design, and modern development pipelines Startup mindset - fast, proactive, and solution-oriented

Nice to Have

Experience in

Python

or other backend languages Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) Strong knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps workflows
