Principal Engineer

, you'll play a critical role in designing and delivering scalable, high-performance software solutions that power our global platform. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build APIs, optimize performance, and lead the development of key modules using modern technologies. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about clean code, architecture, and innovation.

Responsibilities

Design and develop APIs

based on application specifications and business needs

Deliver end-to-end solutions

for key modules using Python and Django

Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code

following best practices

Test, deploy, and debug applications

to ensure high performance and reliability

Continuously refactor and improve existing software

using industry-standard principles

Collaborate in requirements reviews

and contribute to technical planning

Document code and processes

throughout the software development lifecycle

Implement multi-tier software architectures

using modern technologies

Monitor live systems and optimize performance

proactively

Work closely with business stakeholders

to deliver impactful IT solutions

About You

10+ years of experience in Python development

, with a strong foundation in backend engineering

7+ years of hands-on experience with Django

, building scalable web applications

Proficient in database technologies

including PSQL, RDS, and SQL Server

Experienced in DevOps practices

, especially Continuous Delivery and CI/CD pipelines

2+ years of experience with cloud platforms

, particularly Azure and AWS

Familiar with Agile methodologies

and collaborative development environments

Hands-on experience with Agentic AI

and its integration into software systems

Bonus: Experience with Java and GoLang

is a plus
