MEMCM is part of the Microsoft Enterprise Mobility + Security Suite (EMS), which is one of the fastest growing enterprise services within Microsoft. As a Principal Engineer in MEMCM you will lead engineering teams driving architecture decisions for MEMCM - brings delight to our IT Admins and customers. You will work with a strong set of engineers providing technical guidance and engineering excellence and fostering a culture of growth mindset and inclusion

The opportunity as a Senior/Principal Software Engineer at MEMCM has three core attributes that are compelling: Technology Leadership, Customer Obsession and One Microsoft

Technical Leadership: Architect and Design solutions that can scale 100s of million devices that our ITAdmin customers manage. In this role, you will work with modern cloud services of Azure and modern technologies for peer networking to build large scale systems. Lead the team with comprehensive design and enable them to code with high quality, establish scenario SLA dashboards, integrate with partners (internal and external), improve troubleshooting and customer experiences, root cause issues and iterate improvements.

Customer Obsession: Our team has innovated in customer connection and engagement. Everyday members of our team are listening to customers and potential customers to deeply understand their needs so that we can deliver results that earn their trust and accelerate their business. You will work the real customers directly and identify their unmet needs and convert them into new feature ideas.

One Microsoft: We are looking for a engineers who is passionate about collaborating across various BU in Microsoft to address our customer needs. In this role, you will be partnering with Windows, Azure BU to modernize the platform and provide integrated experience.

Skills and requirements that are essential for this role:

• 10+ years of Hands-on experience in software development with proven track records of architecting/designing solutions with demonstrated usage
• Excellent technical design skills and proven ability to drive larger scale system designs for complex projects or products.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, System programming
• Passion for customer interaction and desire to exceed what our customers demand of us

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in developing large scale cloud services
• Experience in Windows System internals, MacOS, Azure
• Expertise in distributed systems and/or big data technologies
