The Skills that are Key to this role

• Performs and extends to development in the following technologies Java, Angular etc
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Object Oriented programming
• Proven track record as a Technical Lead, crafting new solutions and re-platforming legacy applications
• Experience or certification in Cloud-based (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) architectures
• Desire/ability to learn and implement new technologies
• Experience with Agile development methodology
• Experience with MicroService pattern & SOA methodology
• Experience of consuming and designing RESTful APIs, and good knowledge of standard methodologies in API design.
• Exposure to front-end UI technologies like Angular is preferred
• Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages (Java, C++, Javascript/NodeJS)
• Good understanding of automation (testing, continuous integration/deployment)
• Ability to work effectively in global teams distributed across geographic locations
• Hands on experience with AWS EC2, database migrations into cloud and containerization of applications
• Experience in building CI/CD pipelines and automation for AWS migration

Technical / Behavioral

• Performs and extends to development in the following technologies Java, Angular, AWS etc
• Leading technology solutions to deliver business value across scrum team(s)
• Growing our agile development culture through use of excellent engineering skills and a deep knowledge of industry standard methodologies
• Simplifying the complex through consistency, refactoring and repeatability
• Mentoring junior engineers on concepts like Simple Design and SOLID patterns
• Collaborating in an autonomous team, owning all aspects of delivery (Coding, Quality, DevSecOps)
• Creating intuitive solutions to real world business problems

The Skills that are Good To Have for this role

• AWS Certified Architect or Developer
• Java Certification

How Your Work Impacts the Organization Personal Investing (PI) is the retail investing arm of Fidelity that serves the financial needs of millions of individual investors with a comprehensive range of investment products and services. The primary objective of the team in India is to enable the PI businesses, working with our IT business partners in the US.
