The Principal Programmer Analyst I will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and supporting custom applications that enable Skyworks' operations and enterprise systems. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and collaboration with business and IT teams to deliver reliable and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

Application Development

+ Design, code, test, and deploy custom applications for operations and enterprise workflows. + Develop and maintain integrations between ERP, MES, and other manufacturing systems.
+ Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices for performance and security.

Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering

+ Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. + Prepare functional and technical documentation for custom applications.

System Support & Maintenance

+ Provide ongoing support for custom applications, including troubleshooting and bug fixes. + Optimize existing applications for efficiency and scalability.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within scope. + Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

Required Experience and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of experience in application development and systems analysis. Proficiency in programming languages such as

C#, .NET, Java, Python

, and scripting tools. Experience with

SQL Server, Oracle

, and database design principles. Familiarity with

ERP systems (SAP preferred)

and

MES systems

integration. Understanding of

API development, RESTful services

, and middleware integration. Knowledge of

SDLC methodologies

and Agile practices.

Desired Experience and Skills

Preferred Skills

Exposure to

cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)

and containerization technologies. Experience with

reporting tools

(Power BI, Tableau). Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
