Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic

academic and administrative leadership

to the School/College of Pharmacy Ensure effective delivery of the pharmacy curriculum in line with

PCI (Pharmacy Council of India)

and University regulations Oversee

faculty recruitment, mentoring, performance evaluation, and professional development

Ensure high-quality

clinical, laboratory, and practical training

for pharmacy students Promote

research, innovation, and industry collaboration

Maintain

accreditation standards, statutory approvals, and regulatory compliance

Foster holistic student development through

academic, professional, and ethical training

Essential Qualifications

Basic degree in Pharmacy (

B.Pharm

). Registration as a Pharmacist under the

Pharmacy Act, 1948

. First Class Master's degree (

M.Pharm

) in an appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy.

Ph.D. degree

with First Class either at the Bachelor's or Master's level in an appropriate branch of specialization in Pharmacy. All degrees must be from

PCI-approved/recognized institutions

.

Experience Requirements

15 years

of experience in

Teaching / Industry / Research

. Out of the total 15 years, a

minimum of 5 years

must be at the level of

Professor or above

in a

PCI-approved/recognized pharmacy college

.

Additional Requirements

The candidate should be an

eminent person in the field

.

Desirable:

Administrative experience in a responsible position.
