Qualification & Experience:

Must hold

M.Sc. Nursing

from a recognized university.

Minimum 15 years of total professional experience

, out of which

at least 12 years should be in teaching

at a recognized nursing institution. Should meet all norms as per

Indian Nursing Council (INC)

and

State Nursing Council

guidelines for the post of Principal.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide

strategic, academic, and administrative leadership

for the nursing college. Supervise and guide

faculty members, students, and non-teaching staff

to ensure excellence in education and discipline. Oversee

curriculum planning, academic schedules, examinations, and evaluation

processes as per INC and university norms. Ensure

compliance with regulatory bodies

(INC, State Nursing Council, and University) and maintain quality standards in teaching and infrastructure. Lead initiatives for

student welfare, clinical training, placements, and extracurricular activities

. Promote

research, innovation, and professional development

within the institution. Prepare and manage

academic budgets, reports, and accreditation documentation

. Act as a

liaison

between the management, faculty, students, and external stakeholders. Maintain

discipline, ethical standards, and a positive learning environment

across the college.
