Create benchmarks for students and teachers and track progress towards those goals
Develop programs that improve teacher performance and assist students in understanding class material better
Provide guidance to the school's network of student leaders and challenge those leaders to make the school a better place
Respond immediately to concerns from parents and school board administrators
Responsible to ensure the school is safe and disciplined
To coordinate the development and management of the school's curriculum
Set goals for the school and monitor the performance of teachers and students
Manage staff, including evaluating their teaching effectiveness
Oversee student activities, including day-to-day activities, quarterly activities, and yearly activities
Provide leadership, direction, and coordination within the school
Promote the improvement of teaching and learning
Oversee day-to-day school operations
Manage school logistics and budgets
Set learning goals for students and teachers based on national curricula
Monitor and report on teacher performance
Present data from school performance to board members
Research new resources and techniques to improve teaching
Interview and hire school personnel
Review and implement school policies
Provide guidance and counseling to teachers
Handle emergencies and school crises
Organize school events and assemblies
Ensure a safe and clean environment for students (e.g. implementing hygiene rules)
Attend conferences to gain knowledge on current educational trends
