We are seeking a highly experienced Scheduling Operations Specialist with over 10 years of hands-on expertise in enterprise batch operations. This role is critical to ensuring the success of business-critical applications through proactive support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of scheduling environments using tools like Tidal, Tivoli.
We are seeking a highly experienced Scheduling Operations Specialist with over 10 years of hands-on expertise in enterprise batch operations. This role is critical to ensuring the success of business-critical applications through proactive support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement of scheduling environments using tools like Tidal, Tivoli.


Responsibilities:

+ Lead day-to-day batch operations and ensure SLA compliance. + Provide expert-level support for Tidal Workload Automation and related tools. + Collaborate with automation engineers to enhance monitoring and analytics. + Serve as a technical consultant for new implementations and integrations. + Own and resolve incidents and service requests with urgency and precision. + Identify and implement service improvements to optimize scheduling operations. + Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to the knowledge base. + Mentor junior team members and promote cross-tier knowledge sharing. + Escalate and manage extended service outages and high-impact incidents.

Team Role:

+ Monitor team workflows and ensure timely resolution of incidents and requests. + Contribute to service catalog and process documentation. + Encourage continuous learning and skill development. + Support knowledge transfer across IT Service Delivery teams. + Recommend cost-effective improvements aligned with business needs. + Collaborate with Automation SME Lead on team development initiatives.

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in IT or related field. + Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, UNIX shell). + Experience with Windows and Linux environments. + Proven expertise in job scheduling tools (Tidal, Tivoli, Control-M). + Excellent communication and incident management skills. + Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
