1. Academic Leadership
Provide visionary leadership to deliver high-quality ICSE curriculum from Primary to Senior Secondary levels.
Ensure effective teaching-learning processes aligned with CISCE guidelines.
Monitor academic planning, lesson plans, assessments, and student outcomes.
Promote innovative pedagogy, experiential learning, and use of educational technology.
Oversee board exam preparedness, results, and academic audits.
2. ICSE & Regulatory Compliance
Ensure strict adherence to CISCE norms, affiliation requirements, and statutory compliances.
Prepare and submit all required documentation, inspections, and reports to CISCE.
Implement national and state education policies as applicable.
Maintain records related to academics, staff, students, and infrastructure.
3. Administration & Operations
Manage day-to-day school operations efficiently.
Oversee school policies, SOPs, timetables, calendars, and discipline frameworks.
Ensure safety, security, hygiene, and child protection policies.
Supervise infrastructure, transport, and facilities management in coordination with management.
4. Staff Leadership & Development
Recruit, mentor, evaluate, and retain qualified teaching and non-teaching staff.
Conduct regular staff meetings, appraisals, and professional development programs.
Foster a collaborative, ethical, and performance-oriented work culture.
Resolve staff grievances in a fair and transparent manner.
5. Student Development & Welfare
Promote holistic development - academic, co-curricular, sports, arts, and life skills.
Maintain student discipline, attendance, and well-being.
Encourage values of integrity, empathy, leadership, and social responsibility.
Support inclusive education and address special learning needs.
6. Parent & Community Engagement
Act as the primary point of communication between school, parents, and management.
Conduct regular PTMs, orientations, and school events.
Address parent concerns professionally and empathetically.
Build strong relationships with alumni, local authorities, and educational bodies.
7. Financial & Resource Management
Assist management in budget planning and cost optimization.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources and infrastructure.
Monitor academic and operational expenditures within approved budgets.

Enhance the school's reputation and academic standing.
Support admissions strategy and retention initiatives.
Represent the school at educational forums, competitions, and official events.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and institutional excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Postgraduate degree (Master's) with B.Ed / M.Ed (mandatory)
Experience:
Minimum 8-15 years in teaching, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (Vice Principal / Headmistress / Principal)
ICSE Experience:
Mandatory prior experience in ICSE/ISC schools
