We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Principal. The Principal will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management and operation of the JKKN College of Engineering and Technology, contributing to the seamless flow of resources that support our educational initiatives. This role requires a dedicated individual who can uphold our vision and mission through effective academic and administrative qualities.

The mission of the institution is to develop the learners academically, socially, and economically, it is Approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and Affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. The college is housed in the campus of JKKN Educational Institutions on the National Highway NH 544, Nataraja Puram, Kumarapalayam \xe2\x80\x93 638183, Namakkal (DT), which is spread over an area of 100 acres.

Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership \xe2\x80\x93 Align the academic and administrative functions and implement innovative strategies.

Curricular Oversight \xe2\x80\x93 Develop, Revise and implement the curriculum in line with the latest advancement in engineering industry and higher education.

Faculty Development \xe2\x80\x93 to mentor and guide faculty in pedagogic and research excellence

Resource Allocation - Effectively manage the budget, resources, and infrastructure

Global Partnership \xe2\x80\x93 Integrate global perspectives. Cultivate and initiate collaborations with international institutions.

Compliance and accreditation Extensive knowledge of academic accreditation and compliance procedures

Community Engagement \xe2\x80\x93 Serve as the face of the institution to the broader community and establish it as a hub for innovative solutions in dental healthcare.

Student Welfare \xe2\x80\x93 Provide an overall safe environment for students to explore opportunities for their overall development.

Advisory - Serve as the chief academic advisor to the Board of Directors and Academic Council, making evidence-based recommendations for institutional improvement.

Innovation Management \xe2\x80\x93 Introduce initiatives aimed at technological advancement, curriculum innovation and uptrend educational practices.

Requirements:

• Ph. D. degree and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s level in the relevant branch in Engineering & Technology.
• At least two successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Co-Supervisor and minimum 8 research publications in SCI / SCIE / UGC / AICTE approved list of journals
• Minimum 15 years of experience in teaching / research/ industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at the post equivalent to that of Professor
