We are looking for a Principal IP Product Analyst to join our IP Laws team. This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate the implementation and delivery of IP law content for one of our IP Renewals Management software systems. This team member will utilize their intellectual property expertise and project management skills to strategically coordinate the analysis, implementation, and release of statutory due dates in the portfolio management systems\xe2\x80\x99 periodic law updates.

About You \xe2\x80\x93 Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments

  • Bachelor\'s degree or Paralegal degree required
  • 5+ years in the intellectual property industry and with solid experience in IP Renewals Systems software, docketing practice, and IP Law calculations, preferably TM1
  • 5+ years of advanced knowledge and understanding of Data Processing & Analytics & Client Portfolio Management including Trademark Renewal Documentary requirements

What will you be doing in this role?
  • Execute against strategy to keep the TM1 law engine up to date with jurisdictional law changes and take part in coordinating the deliverables associated with each IP law client content release, adhering to agreed/defined release frequencies
  • Where applicable Execute against strategy to keep the any of the Renewal Products that fall under the IP Renewal Laws Team remit law engines up to date with jurisdictional law changes and take part in coordinating the deliverables associated with each IP law client content release, adhering to agreed/defined release frequencies
  • Collaboratively solve for complex IP law and docketing updates by participating in designing and implementing specific business solutions
  • Timely review, accurately translate, and implement IP law business requirements into technical solutions or system rules and conduct related user acceptance testing
  • Escalate and assist in resolving issues with law related functionality of the partnering Clarivate Portfolio management software, interacting with colleagues in IP Laws, product, and software development
  • Collaborate closely with the Operational & Data Processing, Customer Care & IP Laws Customer Solutions team to help facilitate prompt comprehensive responses to our Internal Stakeholders and/or clients, including communicating directly with the internal stakeholders on issues and education
  • Maintain and enhance documentation and best practices on implementation processes whilst simultaneously assisting, contributing and maintaining internal Education Materials.
  • Assist internal stakeholders with understanding law update releases within the TM1 platform
About the Team

Our team is responsible for providing periodic releases of IP law updates into Clarivate in-house IP Renewal Laws softwares in accordance with new laws or law changes. The main purpose of this role is to contribute to coordinating the analysis, interpretation, implementation, testing of new or modified intellectual property laws into the law engine utilized by Clarivate proprietary products and services. Subsequently, the law updates are published to internal stakeholders including release notes and other related documentation. This enables our Customer Care teams to seamlessly continue to support customers to keep their IP portfolio up to date. Additionally, this individual will support the manager in working with the product teams on existing and new technical solutions. This role will report to the Senior Manager, IP Product.

Hours of Work

Full Time w/ occasional flexibility to accommodate meetings with other time zones/regions (namely US, Europe)
