Job description NOTE: 1ST PREFERENCE FOR RETIRED PERSONS WORKED IN THE INSURANCE FIELD MINIMUM 10-YEAR CANDIDATE_ BASED ON CHENNAI LOCATION PREFERRED FOR THE POSITIONS_ Manage the insurance domain as well as License Applications- Ensuring compliance with IRDA guidelines, keeping up to date with all regulatory changes, and ensuring implementation of the same in the company\'s Insurance business.- Liaise with insurance companies and internal stakeholders (tech, business, QA, marketing) for smooth functioning and growth of the insurance business.- Responsible for a product, MIS, and operations.- Setup processes for the Insurance business both Offline, Online, and Trade as per IRDA norms- Timely reporting of IRDA reports- Represent the company during IRDA Audits, Hearings, etc- Guide and advise the management on the Insurance business- Ensure judicious use of natural resources- Adhere to the environmental health and safety policy/objectives and guidelines of the organizationExperience: 10-15 years of experience preferably in the Insurance industry preferably in a broker set-up playing the role of Principal Officer handling Travel, Health, Motor & Life InsuranceKnowledge & Key Skills :- Should have knowledge of applying for the IRDA licenses and procuring the same- Sound knowledge of insurance products and business.- Valid IRDA training certification is a mandatory requirement.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Preferably from a start-up and used to working in a high-paced environment.- Good PR relationship skills Functional Areas: Insurance( Life / Non-life) Job Location: Chennai Job Type: Full-time Salary: 935,000.00 - 960,000.00 per month Benefits:
