The role requires immediate availability, with work conducted remotely during UK shift timings (01:30 PM - 09:30 PM IST).
Key Responsibilities
1. Define and own the technical architecture, including distributed systems, service boundaries, and data flows.
2. Lead design reviews and ensure alignment with business and engineering best practices.
3. Provide patterns, reference implementations, and technical guidance to senior engineers.
4. Drive scalability strategy (multi-region deployments, zero-downtime releases, resilience, DR planning).
5. Shape the data strategy, covering database design, caching, and event-driven patterns.
6. Guide frontend architecture (React, Next.js, React Native), ensuring maintainability and performance.
7. Advance DevOps practices -- secure, automated AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, observability.
8. Mentor senior engineers into technical leaders.

What We're Looking For
1. 12+ years of software engineering experience, including senior leadership roles (Principal/Staff/Lead).
2. Expertise in large-scale system design and cloud-native best practices (AWS).
3. Strong backend (Node.js/TypeScript or similar) and frontend (React) experience.
4. Proven track record of enabling teams to deliver complex solutions at scale.
5. Excellent communication and mentoring skills.
