Job Summary:
The School Principal serves as the instructional and administrative leader of the school, responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and high-performing learning environment. The principal oversees curriculum implementation, staff supervision, student achievement, school operations, and community relationships to ensure academic excellence and student well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Instructional Leadership
Provide vision and leadership for teaching and learning aligned with district and state standards
Supervise and evaluate instructional staff to improve classroom performance
Promote data-driven decision-making to improve student achievement
Support curriculum development, implementation, and assessment
School Management & Operations
Oversee daily school operations, schedules, and procedures
Develop and manage the school budget and allocate resources effectively
Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Maintain a safe, orderly, and positive school environment
Staff Leadership & Development
Recruit, hire, mentor, and retain high-quality staff
Foster a collaborative and professional school culture
Plan and support ongoing professional development
Student Support & Discipline
Promote positive student behavior and enforce discipline policies fairly
Support student attendance, engagement, and well-being
Address student, parent, and staff concerns appropriately
Family & Community Engagement
Build strong relationships with parents, guardians, and community partners
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding school goals and progress
Represent the school at meetings and community events
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Education, PHD, Educational Leadership, or related field
Valid principal or administrative certification/license
As a Principal experience should be (3-5+ years)
Teaching experience (minimum 10 or 10+ years)
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
must be worked in OASIS Portal
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and instructional best practices
Ability to manage budgets, personnel, and complex operations
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student success
