Roles & Responsibilities:Maintain the financial planning and analysis function for the Servicing segment's Net Interest Income and Expense
Partner with the accounting team during month-end close to get all necessary entries posted
Understand the NII models to provide value-added insight for forecast changes
Validate accuracy of Banking summary for posting in the correct P&L
Drive an efficient, effective and comprehensive process for developing financial plans and analysis that links to the strategic objectives
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the company's business model and competitive/benchmark landscape; recommend and drive best practice adoption
Maintain Flux reporting walks on each model for quick turnaround for Monthly Financial Review.
Prepare a monthly reporting package that includes full financial statements, comprehensive Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting, operational Dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, actual versus forecast and budget variances and comprehensive executive level explanations of differences
Provide financial modeling and analysis support for portfolio acquisitions, new or changing revenue streams, and changes in revenue resulting from changes in the economic environment
Assist in preparing analysis, commentary and presentation material for the monthly and quarterly financial review meetings
Support quarterly external reporting, including earnings releases and earnings call support information
Ad hoc analyses and projects as needed by the Finance Team and our business partners
Core Requirements:Degree in Finance or Accounting. Chartered Accountant highly preferred
3 - 5 years of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and financial reporting experience required
Exceptional financial modeling and presentation skills
Strong ability to analyze large sets of complex financial data, accurately interpret results, and clearly document results
Good comprehension of GAAP accounting and financial statements
Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to act as a liaison and communicate effectively with Operations, Corporate and Senior Management
Strong Excel skills including financial modeling, pivot tables, and data analysis tools
TM1, Essbase or similar financial database experience (TM1 Preferred)
Mortgage or other loan related experience or a strong desire and ability to learn mortgage servicing
