We work closely together with stakeholders across several Business Areas (BAs), Truck Divisions (TDs), and Group Functions (GFs). While the BAs drive the business, the TDs provide research, development, purchasing, manufacturing, and assembly. Within Volvo Group, the GFs own the Group agenda, provide strategic direction, and have global responsibility in group-wide functions such as IT, legal, compliance, and security. Enterprise IT Security works closely with Group Security, Infrastructure management and security functions within TDs, BAs, and GFs. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our organization as an Senior Enterprise Security Architect - IAM. In this role, you will have the core responsibility of creating and maintaining the IAM reference architecture blueprint for our enterprise. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, particularly those within the Enterprise Architect function, to ensure alignment with business objectives and oversee the implementation of the reference architecture. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing and evolving the reference architecture to meet evolving security needs and industry best practices. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the enterprise IAM reference architecture blueprint, providing a strategic framework for IAM implementation throughout the organization. Collaborate with stakeholders, particularly those within the Enterprise Architect function, to understand business requirements and align the IAM reference architecture accordingly. Steer and oversee the implementation of the IAM reference architecture, working closely with cross-functional teams and ensuring adherence to established standards and guidelines. Regularly assess and evaluate the effectiveness of the reference architecture, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to enhance security and operational efficiency. Manage and maintain the documentation, diagrams, and artifacts related to the IAM reference architecture, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and accessibility for relevant stakeholders. Stay updated on emerging IAM technologies, industry trends, and security practices, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve the reference architecture. Collaborate with security teams, solution architects, and project managers to ensure the IAM reference architecture integrates seamlessly with other security and IT initiatives. Provide guidance and support to technical teams during the implementation of IAM solutions, offering expertise and addressing architectural challenges as they arise. Assist in the development and enforcement of IAM policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Act as a subject matter expert on IAM reference architecture, providing consultation and guidance to stakeholders, including senior management, regarding IAM strategies, risks, and benefits. Qualifications: Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Proven experience (8+ years) as an IAM architect or in a similar role, with a focus on enterprise-level IAM solutions and reference architecture. Strong knowledge and understanding of IAM concepts, frameworks, and best practices, including identity governance, access management, authentication, and authorization. Experience collaborating with Enterprise Architects and other stakeholders to align IAM initiatives with business goals and objectives. Demonstrated ability to steer and oversee the implementation of complex IAM reference architectures within large organizations. Proficiency in evaluating, selecting, and integrating IAM technologies, tools, and platforms. In-depth understanding of relevant security standards, regulations, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS) as they relate to IAM. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and the capability to anticipate and address architectural challenges. Relevant certifications in IAM, such as CISSP, CISM, or vendor-specific certifications, are highly desirable.
