We are looking for an experienced and innovative

Web Applications Test Architect

to lead the quality strategy and test architecture for our web-based platforms. This role requires a strong background in software testing methodologies, test automation frameworks, and performance engineering, along with the ability to drive end-to-end quality initiatives across development and QA teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and implement the overall test strategy, architecture, and automation framework for web applications. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and DevOps engineers to ensure testability and quality are built into design and development. Lead the evaluation, selection, and integration of test tools and technologies for automation, performance, and security testing. Establish best practices for test design, automation, CI/CD integration, and defect management. Mentor QA engineers and guide teams in implementing scalable, maintainable, and reusable test solutions. Conduct technical reviews of test cases, automation code, and test execution reports. Drive initiatives for performance, scalability, accessibility, and security validation of web applications. Define quality metrics and dashboards to provide visibility into product quality and release readiness.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience in software testing, with at least 4 years in a test architect or equivalent leadership role. Expertise in web application testing, including functional, performance, security, and cross-browser testing. Strong hands-on knowledge of test automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit). Experience integrating test frameworks into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.). Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured). Experience in testing of software using test frameworks (Pyunit, Robot, Pytest) Exposure to microservices testing strategies.
