Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using AWS services. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions.

In your new role you will:

Cloud Solution Design and Implementation: Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions using

AWS

services, including:

EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS

, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and other AWS services. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.

Cloud Infrastructure Management: Manage AWS environments, including: + Setup, monitoring, and optimization of AWS resources.
+ Ensuring cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards.


Code Development and Maintenance: Write and maintain robust, clean, and efficient code, including:

Strong programming skills in

Python, Java, Node.js.

Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services and infrastructure, including:

Identifying and resolving technical issues in a fast-paced environment. Collaborating with DevOps and engineering teams, IT operations, to ensure seamless integration of cloud-based solutions.

Cloud Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure security and compliance with industry standards, including: + Strong knowledge of cloud security practices and infrastructure management.
+ Implementing security best practices and ensuring compliance with industry standards.


Cost Analysis and Budget Management: Assist in cost analysis and budget management for AWS resources, including: + Analyzing costs and providing recommendations for cost optimization.
+ Collaborating with business leads and product owners to understand solution requirements and identify and implement scalable, secure architectural patterns.


Staying Current with AWS Services: Stay current with new AWS services and features, and recommend improvements to existing architecture, including:

Researching and evaluating new AWS services and features. Providing recommendations for improvements to existing architecture.

Your Profile

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in software development with a focus on AWS cloud services. Proficient in

AWS

services such as

EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM

, etc. Strong programming skills in

Python, Java, Node.js

. Experience with

DevOps

tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gitlab, Docker, Kubernetes) is preferred. Strong knowledge of

cloud security practices

and infrastructure management. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good understanding of
