esponsibilities

eading technical design delivery and providing technical guidance to the project team; C
lient liaison and report preparation; A
ssist in the preparation of proposals within current frameworks and the development of additional clients; L
ead on Stakeholder engagement and identify and support in securing potential business development opportunities; T
raining and mentoring of staff, especially more junior staff; D
evelop and maintain project related health and safety strategies, including risk assessments; and O
perate in accordance with the corporate health and safety, environment and quality standards and ensure the project team comply with such standards. C
ontribute to task and resource requirements across the wider team and ensure delivery; W
orking with, and providing support to, our project management team; P
otential for line management responsibilities, supporting recruitment activities; R
aise the profile of the company through attendance and presentations at technical and commercial conferences, preparation of papers and press releases; and W

ork may require travel to the UK visiting offices and project sites

xcellent command of written and verbal English. C
andidate should have a clear and demonstrable technical understanding of standards and norms pertaining to UK Water Industry. P
roblem solving and originality. C
omputer literate, e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. S
uccessful candidate will be a dynamic, self-motivated individual who will take on a Leadership role in project work, focused on delivery to the client and technical excellence. The role requires management of several projects and becoming involved in design at an early stage. The ability to plan and design deliverables against UK engineering standards for each stage of a project is a pre-requisite and training and guidance will be provided where necessary. C
ultural awareness, conscientious and an open mind and excellent communication skills are essential requirements for the role. H
igh degree of self-motivation and ability to motivate others. A
bility to work under pressure and with minimum of supervision. A
ccountable and see the big picture of the project to achieve the best result for the client C

illingness to travel to the UK for short term assignments and training. S

relevant degree and be professionally qualified with membership of an applicable institution. A
sloid background in engineering design related to water company infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets including the ICA design and specification of the following: S
+ election and specification of field instrumentation across relevant water processes;

+ xperience in the application and specification of BPCS systems and control networks;
E
+ xperience in the application and specification of Telemetry outstation interfaces;
E
+ xperience in the retrofitted / modified process control scheme design;
E
+ xperience in instrument loop and process hook-up design, inclusive of cable calculations and containment;
S
+ pecification of conventual and intelligent MCCs;
E
+ xperience applying WIMES and water company design standards and specifications;
K
+ nowledge of LV distribution within a control system context;
C
o-ordination with all other disciplines; T
o ensure technical excellence in process engineering and design; E
xperience in the use of offshore resourcing to deliver projects; G
ood presentation, written and verbal communication skills in English; T
he ability to work on your own initiative on technical matters and provide mentoring to others within the team; A
n appetite to work on the edge, and pushing the boundaries of, your technical comfort zone. W
