Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and drive the overall technical vision and architecture for large-scale, mission-critical systems. Make high-impact technology decisions that influence organizational strategy and long-term scalability. Lead design and implementation of advanced distributed systems and microservice architectures. Partner with senior leadership, product managers, and architects to shape technical roadmaps and innovation strategies. Establish and enforce engineering excellence standards across multiple teams and projects. Provide deep technical mentorship to senior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Optimize cloud infrastructure and ensure cost-effective, secure, and scalable deployments on AWS. Evaluate, adopt, and integrate cutting-edge tools and technologies (e.g., Cloud Code, AI-assisted development) to accelerate delivery and productivity.

Required Qualifications12+ years of professional software development experience with a proven track record of delivering complex systems. Expert-level proficiency in Golang (must-have). Strong experience with Python and Java for backend development. Extensive hands-on experience in microservice architecture, distributed systems, and high-performance computing. Deep knowledge of AWS Cloud services and cloud-native design principles. Advanced understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps best practices. Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction at an organizational level and lead multiple teams.

Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Cloud Code or Cursor AI tools for productivity enhancement. Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation). Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ). Exposure to AI-assisted development workflows and emerging engineering trends. Data Analytics & Big Data Technologies: Familiarity with tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, Snowflake, or Databricks. Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and real-time analytics. Understanding of data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and SQL optimization.

Soft SkillsExceptional leadership and strategic decision-making capabilities. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to balance deep technical expertise with business priorities and organizational goals.
