Role description: We are hiring a Principal Electrical Design Engineer, who can To take on a key role within the North America Water services sector, providing technical advice and leading by example where appropriate. He/She would be expected to manage selected projects (or parts of projects) meeting budgetary, quality and timeframe targets and also to build and consolidate networks within the Water industry.
Role accountabilities:

• An entry-level leadership role leads a large team of electrical, I/C, and power engineers.
• Deliver multiple complex projects and directly manage external client relationships.
• Create opportunities to implement new digital approaches on your projects.
• Preparation of Design reports and design calculations for various electrical, I/C, and Power equipment.
• Responsible for performing engineering services for water sector projects.
• Design and Management Knowledge with using of ETAP, SKM Tool, and DIALux and design softwares.
• Ability to lead a team on various projects in line with client requirement.
• Provide design input to CAD/BIM and co-ordinate with BIM/CAD staff for preparation of drawings.
• Liaison with other team members to produce good design solution as per the best design practice.
• Working in collaboration with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
• Building a profile in the industry and keeping up to date with innovations and developments.
• Compliance of Arcadis business management system.
• Health & Safety Management. Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.E / B. Tech / M. Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.
• 15 to 20 Years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Design of Electrical systems associated with the Water and Wastewater Treatment Industry.
• Managing projects of Pump station, Wastewater Treatment Plants, Water Treatment Plants and taking responsibility for quality assurance and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes/modifications
• Providing technical advice to project team members
• Reviewing and ensuring compliance in the components of the project for which responsible, including drawings, reports, specifications and studies
• Working independently as well as with a team on various projects in line with client requirement.
• Supervising the design team and ensure the project is delivered with high quality within the program and budget.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients on projects
• Liaising with the Project Director or Manager and the client to keep informed of all developments associated with the project
• Assisting in developing team members to their full potential
• Site Experience in Installation and Commissioning of Electrical equipment in Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants
• Being familiar with, and compliant with, relevant H & S regulations and promoting a culture of awareness within the team Performing other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time by your manager.
