About The Job:

  • The Principal Engagement Manager oversees the on time, on budget delivery of the defined solution scope to meet the customer's desired results.
  • This requires the Engagement Manager to complete projects following Client's leading practice methodology, working in collaboration with customer resources, ensuring governance is followed, including risk and issue mitigation.
  • The Engagement Manager is also responsible for leading the Client resources on projects making sure they understand the planned tasks, tracking actual progress, and managing deviations through appropriate measures.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Collaborates with the internal teams, partner and customer to understand the customer and the engagement; including business challenges, key stakeholders, issues and business value to be delivered.
  • Lead cross functional delivery teams to ensure successful implementation of Now Assist capabilities at multiple customers.
  • Manage engagement governance (including driving Steering Committees), timeline, scope, risk, change management, resourcing, reporting, and financials.
  • Keep the core Client leadership team synchronized on the latest status through weekly status reports.
  • Contribute to the development of delivery leading practices.
  • Understand the goals and align the deliverables accordingly.
  • Accountable for communication and acts as the single point of contact to facilitate collaboration, decision making and customer buy-in on proposed solutions.
  • Identify gaps between actuals and plan of record, proposing solutions and driving resolutions.
Qualifications:
  • 12+ years progressive experience as part of a professional services organization; or equivalent education/experience.
  • Preferably experience in implementing Client solutions.
  • Comfort running multiple projects independently.
  • Experience driving complex issues through analysis and resolution.
  • Experience working collaboratively across groups and across time-zones.
