What will you be responsible for?

• Lay down the strategy for End user computing engineering components such as OS and app patching, app-packaging and proactive performance management.
• Deep understanding and participation in defining capabilities and implied business tradeoff for different tech approaches, provide guidance to the team technology, solutioning and problem solving and End user compute engineering.
• Lead a team of passionate engineers and administrators, develop and coach them to higher performance, collaboration, and engagements.
• Desktop Management Systems - Experience with building and managing desktop management infrastructure using tools such as Microsoft SCCM / Intune. Provisioning devices via Microsoft Autopilot and application self service via Microsoft Company Portal.
• Application Packaging -Experience with packaging custom and third-party applications for distribution Patch My PC and Flexera Admin Studio.
• Patch Management - Software and OS patch management using SCCM and MS Intune. Third party patching tools such as Patch My PC.
• Scripting - Strong scripting skills in VBScript, Batch and PowerShell required, with advanced knowledge of PowerShell for management and automation a big plus. As well as an understanding of Microsoft\'s power automation and Microsoft Graph.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft desktop and web Authentication functions, Windows Hello, and Second Factor platforms such as SecureAuth.
• Monitor, report out and define corrective steps to drive security patch compliance on client devices.
• Mentor and lead team in managing Microsoft Intune environment / Active directory group policies.
• Demonstrating engineering mindset and automating operations tasks using scripting languages such as PowerShell.
• Strong skills and understanding of the Microsoft OS and how applications monitoring tools such as Lakeside Systrack for user experience are used to monitor, manage, and proactively improve the health of the enterprise fleet of devices.
• Documenting and sharing operating processes and procedures.

What would your day look like?

• Design and solutioning the patch management system using tools like System Center Configurations Manager (SCCM) / Intune / Patch My PC.
• Packaging software through Admin Studio and test deployments.
• Deploying security policies/software through Microsoft Intune.
• Configure/schedule client laptop security patching.
• Review / Manage scripts (PowerShell, VB, Batch).
• Monitor, report out to management various security patching related KPI\'s and prepare and execute corrective action plans to meet KPI\'s.

Who are we looking for?

• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in desktop management, SCCM and Patch management.
• Experience in architecting / designing client device management solutions with SCCM, Intune, PowerShell scripting and Azure update management.
• Familiarity in creating test, migration, and delivery plans for delivering software and security patches globally.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems, demonstrate problem solving.
