Principal DevOps (Systems) Engineer

About the Role
You will be responsible for design, build & delivery of our application stack for our product teams.
You will be key in increasing the consistency, reliability and resilience of our IT infrastructure.
You will help to create innovative and value driven products that can be delivered quickly to our customers.
Responsibilities

• Ensuring optimal construction and implementation of CI/CD pipelines to achieve consistency
• Building automation to support the effective management and consumption of cloud resources
• Designing and authoring soft infrastructure assets using Infrastructure as Cloud best practices
• Contributing to suggestions for improvements and utilizing our Core Platform Infrastructure As Code modules
• Collaborating effectively within agile dev squads delivering continuous improvements in customer outcomes
• Providing effective solutions through the applied integration of infrastructure, software, and software delivery best practices to ensure continuous success

Requirements

• Have experience managing and running Linux servers at scale
• Be experienced in writing and using modular Terraform at scale
• Demonstrate experience and best practices in AWS Architecture with an accreditation
• Have DevOps experience in large multi-product environments
• Have Hands on experience and best practices in distributed application development environment using Git
• Be experienced using modern scripting and object oriented programming languages as a contributing member within an agile dev squad
• Have experience authoring CI/CD pipelines, automation elements related to infrastructure composition, deployment orchestration, and monitoring
• Be able to communicate effectively with key stakeholders and engineers to share your knowledge and ideas
