We are seeking a seasoned data leader to shape the architectural vision and strategy for scalable, interoperable, and governed data ecosystems across the enterprise. In this role, you will define the blueprint for modern data platforms, guide decentralized domain teams, and ensure that data products are built with consistency, reliability, and high performance at their core. What You Will Do

Establish and guide enterprise-wide data modeling and platform design standards that support both analytical and operational workloads.
Build and maintain enterprise, domain, and canonical data models, ensuring alignment across distributed data products.
Partner with business, analytics, and engineering teams to understand data consumption patterns and architect solutions that accelerate insights and operational efficiency.
Drive adoption of modern data mesh principles, designing federated architectures that leverage medallion (Bronze-Silver-Gold) layering and lakehouse platforms.
Lead governance initiatives by defining metadata standards, data quality frameworks, and classification models across domains.
Implement data modeling solutions using tools like Erwin or ER/Studio and support enterprise governance tools including Collibra.
Provide expert architectural oversight and mentorship to data engineering and product teams to ensure robust design and integration practices.
Build and maintain documentation including reference architectures, data flows, design principles, and modeling guidelines.

What You Bring

Extensive experience designing data platforms and models for large, complex organizations.
Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling across structured and semi-structured domains.
Hands-on exposure to lakehouse, medallion architecture, and distributed data mesh environments.
Strong knowledge of AWS-based data platforms and modern data engineering practices.
Proficiency with industry-standard modeling tools (Erwin, ER/Studio) and governance platforms (Collibra or similar).
Deep understanding of dimensional, canonical, and flattened modeling approaches.
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and communicate complex concepts clearly.
Strong leadership mindset with proven capability in documentation, collaboration, and architectural governance.
