This role requires a candidate with a strong technical background in data engineering (with a focus on data infrastructure and management), software development, and a proactive approach to improving data workflows and quality. As an Engineering Manager , you will mainly focus on two main functions; Tech Savvy, hands-on Leader: You\'ll build the team. You\'ll roll up your sleeves and dive into the technical trenches alongside your team. Your deep understanding of data platforms and tech stack will guide strategic decision-making. You\'ll champion innovation and stay ahead of the curve with emerging technologies. Team Architect: You\'ll build, motivate, and empower a team of talented engineers. You\'ll foster a collaborative and inclusive environment where individuals can flourish. You\'ll champion career development and create a space for continuous learning. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and deployment of critical data infrastructure components. Partner with stakeholders across the organization to understand and translate business needs into technical solutions. Manage resource allocation, prioritize tasks, and ensure project deadlines are met. Recruit, onboard, and develop talented engineers, shaping a high-performing team. Foster a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Stay abreast of industry trends and proactively identify and implement new technologies. What We\'re Looking For: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally with a focus on data platforms and infrastructure. The seniority of this role can be flexible based on the experience of the candidate. Proven track record of leading and motivating successful engineering teams. Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps, etc.). Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Passion for building and mentoring, dedicated to fostering individual and team growth. A strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation. For this role, candidates need to work in the PST time zone (04:30 PM - 01:30 AM) and Work from the Office (Noida Subject to availability).
