Strong Experience on
Clustered and Stand-alone Servers.
Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts as well as Data Modeling Concepts.
Experience installing attended and unattended mode MS SQL SERVER from 2012 - 2022 updating with hot fix and service packs.
Extensive experience in implementing Always-On HADR technique in same subnet and multi subnet clusters.
Extensive experience in implementing different High availability and Disaster Recovery solutions like Replication (Snapshot and Transactional), Log shipping, Clustering and Mirroring on physical and virtual machines.
Extensively worked on Active-Active and Active-Passive Clustering and multi node clustering.
Thorough understanding of different RAID levels implementation.
Experience In in-place and Side by Side upgrade of MS SQL SERVER 2012 - 2022 to newer versions.
Strong Exp in Performance Tuning by Index Defragmentation,
optimizing
execution plans, proper usage of indexes, Index rebuild, reorg, horizontal and vertical partitioning.
Expertise
in reading and understanding execution plan and fixing query to execute with low cost using joins like merge, nested loops, hash join etc. depends on scenarios.
Experience in implementing Policy Based Management, Resource Governor, Data Collector sets and Backup Compression Techniques.
Extensive experience in Capacity Planning, Performance Tuning, Disaster Recovery, Trouble shooting, Backup and Restore Procedures.
Expert in extracting from
different sources
,
transforming
and loading data using transformation services like data transformation services like Batch processes, Import/Export, SSIS, DTS, BCP and Bulk Insert.
Experience in configuring and managing Linked Servers.
Experience in setting up and Implementing SCCM 2012 (Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager).
Experience in using dynamic management Views (DMV) and functions (DMF) Of Tables, Triggers, Store Procedures for performance monitoring and tuning.
Experience in writing and debugging Stored Procedures, Triggers, Cursors, Complex queries using T-SQL Scripts and Batch files.
Experience troubleshooting Deadlock issues using trace flags and Extended Events.
Experience using BCP, BULK INSERT, Import/Export data from different Data Sources.
Experience supporting
very large
databases (VLDB) and Complex Databases.
Experience in analyzing Locks, Dead Locks and Handling the Isolation Level and Concurrency Effects.
Extensively used
the native
tools like index tuning wizard, data base tuning advisor, profiler, performance monitor, activity monitor, Event viewer, Extended Events for performance analysis.
Experience in Backups, Restores and Maintenance Plans.
Expert in analyzing the execution plan and index management for better Query Optimization.
Configured SMTP Server for Database Mail setup and set up Alerts for the Threshold values.
Handled multiple SQL Instances on Cluster environment for Server Consolidation projects built on SAN using RAID levels.
Hands on experience with third party tools like
