Github_Actions_Aqua_Qualys

& WAS

We are seeking a skilled

DevSecOps

Engineer

to enhance our CI/CD pipelines with secure automation using

GitHub Actions

, container security via

Aqua

, and web application vulnerability scanning through

Qualys WAS

. This role is pivotal in integrating security into development workflows and ensuring robust application protection.

Responsibilities:

GitHub & GitHub Actions:

Design and maintain CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions

Automate build, test, and deployment pipelines across multiple environments

Integrate security checks and quality gates into GitHub workflows

Manage GitHub repositories, branching strategies, and access controls

Monitor workflow performance and optimize for speed and reliability

Aqua Security:

Implement container image scanning and runtime protection using Aqua

Define security policies for Kubernetes and Docker environments

Integrate Aqua with CI/CD pipelines to enforce compliance and vulnerability checks

Monitor container activity and respond to anomalous behavior

Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams to secure infrastructure-as-code

Qualys WAS:

Configure and run web application scans using Qualys WAS

Analyze scan results and prioritize remediation of vulnerabilities

Integrate WAS findings into ticketing systems or dashboards

Collaborate with developers to fix OWASP Top 10 issues and other web threats

Generate compliance reports and support audit requirements

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum qualifications / Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science

, Cybersecurity, or related field

Good experience in

DevSecOps

or Application Security roles

Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions and YAML workflow syntax

Proficiency in container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and Aqua Security tools

Strong understanding of web application security and vulnerability management

Familiarity with Qualys WAS or similar DAST tools

Scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation

Certifications like GitHub Certified Developer, Aqua CSP, or Qualys Certified Specialist are a plus

Preferred qualifications / Skills

Experience with

IaC

tools (Terraform, Helm)

Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, CVE databases, and secure coding practices

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Strong analytical and communication skills
