Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Data Engineer
Data Engineer: A data engineer develops and maintains systems that support business operations using SQL Server and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Responsibilities

• Develop Solutions: Create databases, write complex queries, and develop ETL processes using SQL Server and SSIS.

• Conduct Unit Testing: Validate the functionality and performance of databases and SSIS jobs to meet quality standards.

• Optimize Performance: Improve database efficiency by analyzing and adjusting query execution plans.

• Document Processes: Keep detailed records of development processes, including code specifications and testing results.

• Collaborate with Teams: Work with other teams to understand data needs and provide technical support.

Write Code: Develop and modify SQL queries and SSIS packages.

• Perform Testing: Conduct unit tests to ensure code meets business requirements.

• Troubleshoot Issues: Resolve problems with SQL Server databases and SSIS jobs.

• Attend Meetings: Discuss project progress and challenges with stakeholders.

• Improve Practices: Stay updated on industry trends to enhance data engineering practices.
