Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Cloud Engineer
A Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Azure to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Design and implement Azure-based solutions including virtual networks, storage accounts, and compute resources.
Manage and monitor Azure environments, ensuring performance, availability, and security.
Oversee cloud migration projects, including planning, execution, and optimization.
Configure hybrid cloud connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and Azure.
Automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and application deployment.
Ensure compliance and governance using Azure Policy, RBAC, and security center tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
BE/B Tech/ MCA/BCA
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure VMs, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Networking).
Experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
Understanding of cloud security principles, including identity management and encryption.
Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Azure DevOps Engineer are highly valued.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Good understanding of web and windows-based applications.
