Principal

Consultant

-

Cloud DevOps Engineer

This position

is part of the Infrastructure and Operations Client Technologies Endpoint Management team, reporting to the End User Computing Technical Architect.

Responsibilities

Cloud Management: Manage and

optimize

AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2, EKS, and RDS.

Operating Systems: Administer and

maintain

Linux and Windows servers.

Build Orchestration: Implement and manage build orchestrators like GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.

Programming: Develop scripts and automation using Python, Groovy, and Shell scripting.

SCM & Artifact Management: Oversee source control management and artifact repositories.

Quality Assurance: Utilize SonarQube for code quality and security analysis.

Automation Tools: Implement and manage automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Vault.

Containerization: Work with container technologies and orchestration.

Process Management: Implement

GitOps

practices, including branching, tagging, and release management.

Collaboration Tools: Use Confluence, Rally, and other tools for documentation and project management.

Qualifications we

seek

in you!

Minimum qualifications

/ Skills

Proven experience in cloud infrastructure management, particularly AWS.

Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems

.

Hands-on experience with

build

orchestration tools like GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.

Proficiency

in programming languages such as Python, Groovy, and Shell scripting.

Experience with SCM, artifact management, and quality assurance tools.

Expertise

in automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, and Vault.

Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies.

Understanding of

GitOps

practices and process management.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication

and collaboration skills

.

Preferred qualifications

/ Skills

Experience with Confluence, Rally, and other project management tools.

Knowledge of

additional

cloud platforms and services.
