Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - C# and VB.NET
We are looking for a senior, hands-on .NET engineer to design and implement the next generation of our enterprise application strategy. This role focuses on building and maintaining robust solutions using C# and VB.NET to address complex business and technical challenges across our healthcare product suite.

Responsibilities
Define and own the end-to-end development strategy and roadmap for enterprise applications built on C# and VB.NET.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable, resilient applications across desktop, web, and backend services.
Evaluate, select, and implement modern frameworks, libraries, and tools to enhance performance and maintainability.
Lead by example with hands-on coding in C#, VB.NET, and related Microsoft technologies.
Perform deep-dive performance analysis, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with DevOps to deliver high-performance solutions.
Integrate builds and deployments within CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Review developers' code to ensure readability, testability, maintainability, and efficiency.
Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Ensure all development practices comply with industry standards, security guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Incorporate security and vulnerability checks into the application development lifecycle.
Address complex technical challenges across our healthcare product suite, ensuring reliability, scalability, and compliance.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Good experience in software development using C# and VB.NET.
Proven experience designing and building applications from scratch using Microsoft .NET technologies.
Strong programming skills in C#, VB.NET, and familiarity with ASP.NET, WinForms, WPF, or Web API.
Deep experience with relational databases (SQL Server, MS SQL) and ORM frameworks (Entity Framework, ADO.NET).
Demonstrated knowledge of API design, integration, and service-oriented architecture.
Extensive experience with CI/CD pipeline integration and DevOps principles.
Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
Prior experience in enterprise-scale applications across finance, healthcare, or manufacturing domains.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience leading development initiatives across multiple product lines or portfolios.
Familiarity with legacy modernization strategies (migrating VB.NET applications to C#/.NET Core).
Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
