For a Recognition Revenue Business Analyst, a role that blends financial

expertise

with strategic insight to ensure accurate

revenue reporting and compliance:

Here are some key responsibilities

Responsibilities

Revenue Recognition Compliance:

Ensure revenue is recognized

in accordance with

accounting standards (e.g., ASC 606 or IFRS 15).

Contract Review:

Analyze customer contracts to determine

appropriate revenue

treatment.

Financial Reporting

: Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue reports.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

: Work with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to align revenue recognition with business operations.

Audit Support

Assist

with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations of revenue transactions.

Process Improvement

: Recommend and implement improvements to revenue recognition processes and systems.

Data Analysis

: Use tools like Excel, SQL, or BI platforms to analyze revenue trends and

identify

discrepancies

.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Training:

Work closely with finance and operations teams to gather and refine requirements.

Provide user training, develop training materials, and deliver workshops to ensure effective system usage.

Conduct regular reviews with stakeholders to align system configurations with business goals.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

Perform regular system checks, manage Salesforce releases, and troubleshoot any issues within Billing and Revenue modules.

Handle escalated support requests and system enhancements to improve user experience.

Participate in testing and quality assurance processes to ensure system reliability and functionality

Qualifications we

Minimum Qualifications

Relevant experience in Salesforce with a strong focus on Salesforce Billing and Revenue

Management .

Bachelor's degree in

Finance

, Accounting, Economics

, or related field.

Relevant experience in

revenue analysis or financial reporting

.

Strong understanding of

GAAP/IFRS revenue recognition principles

.

Proficiency

in

Excel

, ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Experience with

SaaS or subscription-based models

.

Knowledge of

contract lifecycle management

.

CPA or CFA certification is a plus.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
