Kavi India Software Technologies is seeking an experienced Automation test manager to lead the strategies
and design of our information architecture. The ideal candidates will have experience building automated
testing capabilities from scratch while contributing to existing manual testing efforts. These roles will involve
working closely with development teams, leadership skills to guide a team of testers, and the ability to work
collaboratively across time zones, ensuring the quality of our products through automated and manual testing,
and overlapping with US working hours (preferably until noon Central Time).
Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement an automated testing strategy and framework from the ground up.

• Build, mentor, and manage a team of automation and manual testers, fostering a culture of collaboration

and innovation.

• Design and maintain automated UI and API tests using programming languages such as Java,

JavaScript, C#, or Python, leveraging open-source testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured,
etc.

• Oversee and perform end-to-end testing of API and microservices, focusing on scalability and

performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into

effective test cases.

• Design, develop, and maintain test scripts aligned with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior

Driven Development (BDD) methodologies using frameworks like Cucumber.

• Execute and maintain both automated and manual test cases to ensure high-quality software delivery.

• Document and track software defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues.

• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and tools to optimize performance. Provide detailed test reports, metrics, and insights to stakeholders and senior management.

• Stay updated with the latest trends in test automation, tools, and frameworks to suggest and implement

improvements.
Requirements/Skills:

• 8-10 years of experience in software development or service-based testing.

• 4-6 years of experience in test automation within software development or service-based environments.

• Proven experience with API and microservices testing and automation

• Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, Appium, JUnit,

TestNG, PyTest or similar.

• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.

• In-depth understanding of TDD and BDD methodologies and tools like Cucumber.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills with an eye for detail.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.

• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of testers with strong organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with product managers,

developers, and other stakeholders.

• Flexibility to overlap with US hours until noon Central Time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in using SQL for data manipulation and experienced with test management software such as

Zephyr or qTest..

• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps).

• Familiarity with various programming languages such C# and SQLAdditional Qualifications:

• Familiarity with cloud environments, especially Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.

• ISTQB or other relevant certifications in testing or quality assurance
