Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - API Developer (GCP)!

You will design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure APIs that enable seamless integration between systems and external services. You will leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services to build microservices-based architectures, implement CI/CD/CT pipelines, and ensure high-quality software delivery in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

Design and develop RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints following industry best practices Create comprehensive API documentation using Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, or similar tools Implement API versioning strategies and maintain backward compatibility Develop microservices architecture and ensure proper service communication Design and implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys) Deploy APIs on GCP using Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, and App Engine Implement API Gateway for traffic management, security, and monitoring Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to ensure high-quality software delivery Integrate CI/CD/CT pipelines for automated testing and deployment Ensure observability through Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and Trace.
Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong hands onexperience in API development and cloud-based solutions Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages: Python, Node.js, Java Hands-on experience with GCP services (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, App Engine, API Gateway) Expertise in RESTful API design and implementation Experience with CI/CD tools (Google Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions) Strong understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE)

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Certifications: Google Cloud Professional Developer or Architect Experience with GraphQL and API Gateway patterns Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Deployment Manager) Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases (Cloud SQL, Firestore, BigQuery) Strong problem-solving and debugging skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
